In my experience the first two weeks of the semester have been very busy. It is important to get your work done sooner rather than later. Since I am new at maintaining a blog, it will take me a while to work out how to set it up. Getting my blog looking professional is my biggest concern. I always feel that it could be improved upon, and thus have been very stressed thinking of new things for my blog.
I have read the "blog etiquette" and agree that you must not post about things that will get you fired from your job, or may cause you to lose a relationship. If you have something like that to post, please keep it in a personal journal offline. I will make sure not to be vulgar in comments to someone's blog. Give your argument in a professional way if you do not agree with the blog. Also, everyone loves to hear good news. So, if you comment on how you love the blog's content then go for it. Give the blog a supportive comment as it shows you have an interest in that same topic.

ReplyDeleteI agree, it was pretty stressful at the start with all this blogging stuff. I found that I never knew if what I had on here was all I needed and I kept referring back to Dr.V's website. Hopefully everything is up and running properly now. I like the way you commented on blog etiquette. We don't know who might read these blogs, so it's important we present ourselves in a respectful and well mannered way.

ReplyDeleteI think the first couple weeks were a little stressful as well. I was also conserned about how my blog looked, I keep wanting to change things to make it better, but I find myself sometimes spending too much time on! I look forward to the rest of the semester.
